Any good/potentially good R/A builds?
Well, i've just baught all the Rt and A skills (non elite) in GuildWars: Factiosn for my ranger... and I'm wondering, does anyone have any good/decent builds for R/A in PvP they'd like to share?

BM 8+1
Expertise 10+4
Daggers 12
Tiger's Fury
Leaping Mantis Sting
Temple Strike
Horns of the Ox
Falling Spiders
Twisting Fangs
Whirling Defence
Res Sig
This has only been tested in Arenas, but it drops the target in 1 combo. Remember to watch if the target is next to an ally, so you can skip Horns of the Ox+Falling Spiders and go right to Twisting Fangs. The lack of self-healing is sometimes a problem, but the point of the build is to basically kill the enemy befores he kills you, so it's pure offencive.
It can't get simpler than this, run to target and hit 1-6 and win.
*edit*
Damn it, they changed Twsiting Fangs to Critical Strikes... Last time I used the build it was still in Dagger Mastery... So yea, the build's not that great anymore.
*2nd edit*
Temple Strike got nerfed, forget this build

The Template Fangs of Melandru is good too. If you're alone with a monk for example, you can pack enough dmg to kill him before he uses any healing spells.
Horn of the Ox is really good when you're alone with the target. Anyway, you can hex him with that-spell-I-dont-know-the-name and when you do a dual att, he will be knocked down and do Falling spider after that to poison and finish him with Twisting Fangs for bleeding and deep wound.
-7 degen, deep wound and knock down... Enought to kill him while in Tiger Fury or Beastial Fury

I don't know how good it is, but this is the first combo I've looked at (no actual playing done):
1.) Dancing Daggers
2.) Entangling Asp
3.) Iron Palm
4.) Mantis Touch
I don't think any of them require daggers, so you could do whatever you wanted with your other skills. Only problem is that two are spells, and are unaffected by expertise. 2-4 cannot be countered by normal anti-melee counters, and with two knockdowns, kiting is not as effective. I also like the skill Scorpian Wire. Once I can switch secondaries, I plan on playing with that skill to see how well it works. You'd have to switch Dancing Daggers for a close range lead attack. So the combo would be something like this:
1. Scorpian Wire to warp to target, and KD.
2. <lead attack>
3. Entangling asp, KD, and poison
4. Iron Palm, KD
5. Mantis touch, Cripple
With three KD's that's going to make it hard to get away. and with 3/4 of your combo unavoidable, it makes it harder to counter.
And I don't know why you'd use a R/A instead of a A/R yet...but I'll tweak it and come up with something!

Yea, but with my build, Scorpian Wire is a hex, and Entangling Asp and Mantis Touch are both spells (at least they were) so expertise doesn't help as much here....

Depend in how you want to build. Like myself, I mostly use skills than spells and my shadow step is a stance, Viper Defense, for self defense off course your build need Primary Assassin because of spells. But if you dont use spells often and almost using skills and stances, primary Ranger isn't a bad choice.
In all, it depends on how you create your R/A and A/R
ok come back to topic now
